Things To Do
Snowbasin has a plenty of cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, besides this, there isn't much to do. If you're after some nightlife, head over to Ogden Valley or Huntsville for restaurants and bars.
Accessibility
Chances are, you'll be landing in the main airport in Salt Lake City and taking an airport shuttle to the resort. Black Diamond Shuttle offers a private shuttle service to Snowbasin lodging areas. Driving is an alternative which allows you to visit nearby resorts too.
Recommended Airport:
- Ogden-Hinckley Airport 22 miles (30 minute drive)
- Salt Lake City Intl. Airport 45 miles (50 minute drive)
When To Go
January and February are a great time to go. Being a smaller resort, Snowbasin has smaller crowds throughout the season. However, it can attract holiday goers in December, Martin Luther King weekend and President's Day weekend.
