A big resort with serious vertical and plenty of varied terrain. Higher than many so gets very good snow especially on the top half. Hit it early for the best choice but with so much terrain you can always find what you are looking for

This is an awesome resort with something to offer everyone. It is quite big and rarely are the slopes very crowded. There are tons of good runs and there is a super long green run which is awesome for everyone!
This is a smaller resort but still has quite a few good runs. It is usually not very crowded and the snow quality is good. It is also open very early/late into the season
Really good mountain for a couple of days, a lit of versitilatey and some of the better snow in Australia! Definetly worth the trip up, great student deals but can be expensive with out concessions.
Perisher is our family resort. We have skied other resorts in Australia and keep coming back to Perisher. It's ski school is amazing for our younger kids and gives us the chance to explore the terrain.
Great all round mountain! It has sections with easy to hard groomers as well as awesome tree sections where it can be untouched. Also it has a great range of parks for beginners to advanced allowing for a lot of progression
Lake Louise is by far the most family friend resort I have ever skied, but the real gem of the Rockies came alive when we met some of the local staff and residents who showed us the truly magical spots!
Whistler Blackcomb should be on everyone’s priority list. The skiable terrain is insane for all ski level, the village is car free with ample shopping and dining but best of all Canadian hospitality boy these people are the friendliest on earth. Stop looking for the all round resort you just found it in Whistler Blackcomb.
Falls Creek offers an excellent resort experience. The night-life is brilliant and you could be forgiven for thinking it's the cosiest location in Australia during winter (not to mention skin-ski-out). Wide open and long runs cater to all ability levels although advanced skiiers and borders may run out of entertainment.
Absolutely sick. I have never seen that kind of powder anywhere in the world that it’s was almost scary since I’m not the best skier... but mostly fun. There’s only a couple weeks or so of “bad” snow during the season but that being said, the bad snow is still better snow than most resorts in the world.
